I am currently a faculty member at California State University, Sacramento, College of Teacher Education and Undergraduate Studies in Education. I co-authored an English Language Development (ELD) and Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE) teacher-training program for teachers in California, and trained thousands of teachers for the required English Learner Authorization. I consult and coach teachers, administrators, business people, and parents. Nationally, I also consult with Districts, State Departments of Education, and Universities to inspire their teaching staff with research-based, best practices to ensure that every learner will succeed. I’ve trained hundreds of educational stakeholders in the United States as well as in Asia, Europe, and South America.
